Isakson began in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. Since then, the company has grown into an established and reputable financial services provider funded by entrepreneurial Canadian students.
Kevin is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Isakson. He has extensive experience in management and financial investments from working both within and outside of Isakson. Beginning in 2018, Kevin has launched many successful businesses, managing over fifty combined employees and earning revenues of over $250K. Under his leadership, Isakson grew from a fleeting idea to a fully established student organization.
Kevin is serving on the Board of Directors of the Tour des Canadiens 3 corporation. His duties involve contracting commercial services, managing a corporate budget of $2.5M, overseeing day-to-day operations and handling relations with the corporation’s 1000+ shareholders. Kevin is currently completing a BLC/JD degree at the McGill Faculty of Law.
Ryan is a Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of Isakson Investments Inc. He founded a retail business startup as well as a non-profit focused on student mental health. Ryan recently built a research technology to accelerate biomedical research. He was also elected Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf’s Student-Body Vice-President for the 2021-2022. Through his mandate, he worked on the creation of an intercollegiate student-body association. His experiences taught him the importance of working with, not for, the target clientele to well understand its needs, which leads to the construction of a well-rounded solution.
By joining Isakson, he hopes to nurture a responsible investment mentality through the company to bring forward a solution to exploitation in the financial business.
Ryan is currently completing his Medecine-Preparatory year at McGill University.
Her commitment extends beyond corporate duties, as evidenced by her active involvement in community service, notably volunteering as a tutor for a local Montreal organization. By also engaging in various extracurricular activities as an executive throughout college and university, she increasingly apprehended the significance of accessible resources and knowledge.
For these reasons, she aims to increase accessibility to the real estate market for students without extensive finance knowledge, promoting the social ambition of Isakson.
Hiba is currently completing a BLC/JD degree at McGill’s Faculty of Law.
Zexi seeks to bridge together the financial industry and social impact. He currently serves as an Executive Pay and Governance Analyst at Korn Ferry where he advises Fortune 200 Companies on their pay structure and ESG policies leveraging CapitalIQ, Bloomberg and Excel. Zexi also harbours a keen interest towards economic empowerment and building relationships as a Compliance Analyst at the G20 Research Group (G20RG) and an active student life leader.
In his free time, he enjoys casing (way too much), chatting (again, way too much) and jump smashing in badminton (excessively).
Zexi is currently completing a BBA – Management and International Business Specialist at the University of Toronto.
